UA Saarinen
The collection of UA Saarinen from Helsinki includes 300,000 photographs from 1947 to 1991. The press photographs from the 1950s and the 1960s are a central part of the collection. UAS was a versatile entrepreneur in the field of photography: fashion, fairs, portraits, aerial photographs, advertisement photographs, corporate photo shoots (e.g. for the construction firm HAKA and the airline Aero) as well as commercials. He also reformed portrait photography.
